A Family Support & Education Workshop
Healing Together: A Family Support & Education Workshop
Sunday, April 12 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | 400 Franklin St, Braintree
If someone you love is struggling with addiction, you already know the weight of it. The sleepless nights. The conversations that go nowhere. The helplessness of watching someone disappear into something you don’t fully understand.
You are not alone — and you don’t have to navigate this without support.
Reserve Your Spot — It’s FreeEmail cgamberg@rocklandrecovery.com to RSVP. No prior connection to treatment at Rockland Recovery required.
What You’ll Learn
Addiction impacts the whole family — not just the person struggling. This free, in-person workshop is designed for family members and loved ones who want to understand what’s happening, take care of themselves, and show up more effectively for the people they love.
Led by the clinical team at Rockland Recovery Group, the three-hour session covers:
- The Model of Addiction — what addiction actually is, and why willpower alone isn’t the answer
- Self-care for families — how to protect your own wellbeing while supporting a loved one
- How to help effectively — practical tools for responding to someone in active addiction or early recovery
- Connection with others — the chance to meet families who truly understand what you’re going through
Addiction impacts the whole family — recovery can too.
